Marina and the Diamonds

Marina Lambrini Diamandis, better known as Marina and the Diamonds, is a Greek singer/songwriter based in the UK. Her stage name comes, not from any backing band, but from a literal translation of her last name. She has a style that can be best described as New Wave indie pop.

Ska Theme Songs

Dr. Dog

Dr. Dog is a psychedelic rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Each member of the band has a nickname, as do the friends of the band. Their version of pop-rock is reminiscent of the 1960s, a time period they draw a lot of their inspiration from. You can catch them tonight at Higher Ground in Burlington, VT. Lonely Island Remixes

I’m sure you’ve heard of The Lonely Island. They’re a comedy group made of up Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer that does a lot of musical parodies. Recently, they just released a single called I Just Had Sex featuring Akon. If you haven’t heard it yet, pop over to youtube and listen to it. After you’re done there, listen to these two remixes, one a bit more of a trance remix and the other an electrohouse type deal. Either way, they’re pretty danceable.
