Storm

Storm, a London native, is a New Age Renaissance Artist based out of Orlando, Florida. Her songs have that lyrical female voice with a flow you love to listen to, but she’s not shy when it comes to switching up the style. Check out one of the songs off her mixtape, The i, that drops today. You can download it, FREE, here.

Dr. Dog

Dr. Dog is a psychedelic rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Each member of the band has a nickname, as do the friends of the band. Their version of pop-rock is reminiscent of the 1960s, a time period they draw a lot of their inspiration from. You can catch them tonight at Higher Ground in Burlington, VT. Zion-I Remixes Rebelution

Rebelution’s song Safe and Sound stands pretty well on its own. But this remix from Zion-I takes the smooth reggae and picks up the tempo to turn it into a great song to listen to in the car, in your dorm, or even anywhere you can just sit back relax and let it flow over you.

Feel free to move with it:

Datsik

Datsik, also known as Troy Beetles, is a Dubstep DJ and music producer from British Columbia, Canada. His first release was in the spring of 2009. Ever since then, he’s been making some sick original songs as well as going in on a lot of remixes. Check out this relatively new song from Datsik called Domino. It’s a chill song to just have going in the background if you’re trying to do work. Below that, listen to one of his more uptempo remixes if you’re in the mood to jump around.

Chris Webby

This music is pretty damn chill. It seems being chill is all that matters with people these days, so I’ve decided to keep suite with DJ Robo Pat’s last post. He’s currently unavailable, but he will be back soon.

Chris Webby is from Fairfield County, Connecticut. He’s had five mixtapes so far, and La La La is his most popular song.

Mac Miller

Mac Miller is another young rapper in the game. From the northeastern United States, he’s signed to Rostrum Records, the same label that picked up Wiz Khalifa. The majority of his songs are just perfect to play while you study or do other activities that require chill music.

For starters, check out this song off one of his 2010 mixtapes, K.I.D.S., called Senior Skip Day

Chiddy Bang and K os: Cool New Songs

We cannot legally give you links to download these songs. However, if your worth your weight, there are plenty of places to get these for free, but if you really like them, buy them off iTunes.

The Love Song —K os

I guess Canada is good for something, this rapper/producer out of Toronto uses a variety of genres from rap to reggae to convey his lyrically based music.  K os (pronounced chaos) focuses on a positive message and frequently criticizes mainstream hip hop for being too centered on money and violence.
Here We Go —Chiddy Bang
These rising stars from Philly rely on sampling and unique electronic based instrumentals provided by Noah “Xaphoon Jones” Beresin coupled with quick and clever wordplay from Chidera “Chiddy” Anamege.  The two met at Drexel University and have been jamming ever since.  Check out “Chiddy Bang: The Preview” for more.
